Nabeel Zafar is an Instructor in the Department of Surgery at Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. During a year abroad as a Fulbright Scholar, he completed his MPH at Harvard School of Public Health.  His research interests focus on developing the capacity for surgeons in Pakistan to carry out research related to surgery and global health.  He is developing a training program for resident surgeons at Aga Khan University to learn basic research methods and manuscript writing, and he is collaborating with US surgeons on trauma outcomes studies.
