Academic Global Surgery Forum
We meet on the first Tuesday of each month at Homan's Library in Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA. The Forum is sponsored by the Center of Surgery and Public Health. We discuss current literature on surgery and global health and present related research topics. All are welcome!

January 4, 2011 Chris Hughes, MD, MPH will discuss his research in Haiti on the needs for surgical care post earthquake and the surgical capacity of hospitals
February 1, 2011 We will discuss articles on volunteer surgical care in developing countries and Team Heart, a volunteer organization providing cardiac surgery in Rwanda, will discuss their experiences.
